My name is Tim Poon, and you’ve found my blog. I’m a recent college graduate from Texas Tech University living in Dallas, TX. I majored in computer science and minored in mathematics, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.9 GPA.

Though I do a lot of writing and designing, the majority of my livelihood comes from doing web development and software engineering. However, my aspirations lie largely with either working in the video game industry with a game studio like Naughty Dog or writing as a games or technology journalist for a website like Shacknews or Engadget, though I definitely wouldn’t mind being a web developer for a company like Twitter or Facebook.

For writing examples, you should get out the Daily Toreador archives and search for my name or head over to Platform Nation where I currently write.

Coding examples can be found right here on this blog where I break down my projects and occasionally do tutorials on using frameworks or writing some wicked awesome functions.
